Bangalore: Popular Front of India conducted an Eid Milan Get together today at Adams Golden Heritage, Benson Town, Bangalore.
On this occasion Mr. Abdul Wahid Sait, Vice President, Popular Front of India, Karnataka, welcomed the guests. He said if we ponder on creation and notice the variety that is created in every species, we begin to understand the greater design of our Creator in the variety of creation in human beings. Every human is individually wonderful and different. Every platform for mutual understating to appreciate and celebrate this differences a festival by itself. Eid-Milan is the excuse for us to meet while such understanding and cooperation is the real reason.
Mr. Anis Ahmed, National Execu
tive Council member of Popular Front of India, explained the aims and objectives of Popular Front. He state how it was being misrepresented and defended its cause. He started right from its inception and concluded with its aims and objective.
Prof Narasimaih – leader from Ahinda said that today communalism and Fascism are the biggest enemies of India. He appraise the Muslims who he said participated equally in the freedom struggle and that they should have equal rights in this country.
Dr. Dwarakanath – Commissioner for the Backward Commission spoke on the importance of social justice in a secular nation. He said Dalits and Muslims are facing major hurdles for getting equal rights to join the main stream. He suggested that Popular Front of India should start working together with departments such as the Backward Commission which are trying to eliminate this marginalization of certain sections of society.
Elyas Mohammed Thumbe, President, Popular Front India, Karnataka State, highlighted some of the activities of Popular Front. He explained how we adopt every situation where there is a violation of human rights. He quoted several incidents of natural calamities and accidents in which Popular front actively involved in rescue operations and extended a helping hand for the needy.

Corporator, JJR Nagar, Shafiulla, Vice President of Karnataka State Parent body of JD(s), Dr. Prof. Nazneen Begum, Corporator, Padarayanapura, SDPi., Moulana Qadeer Ahmed Sahib Aadaul Amri.
About 300 delegates from various organizations participated and the Vote of Thanks was delivered by Riyaz Pasha, General Secretary, Popular Front of India, and this was followed with dinner.
